How the LEGO DnD adventure came about

The release of the LEGO® Ideas Dungeons & Dragons set was received with great enthusiasm by LEGO fans and DnD players alike. The same level of excitement is shared by those who worked on the special DnD Red Dragon's Tale: A LEGO Adventure. This playable DnD mission was created by DnD Game Design Architect Chris Perkins and Executive Producer Kyle Brink. They both talk to Todd Kendeck about creating this unique DnD mission inspired by the LEGO set.

The Red Dragon's Tale mission is built around the set's only location. Chris and Kyle discuss how they formed the story around the set and the smallest details found around it. Chris also discusses his love of building and collecting LEGO sets. After building the set myself and speaking with the designers behind the set, it is clear that both the LEGO Group and Wizards of the Coast have the utmost admiration for each other's brand.
